I wear the 4E width. Feet like a duck.... Same here, William. The local New Balance retailer is pretty useless because of limited stock and they don't measure customer's feet or take orders. Shoe stores around here only carry medium width in anything that I need like sneakers and Winter boots. Ordering online is my only option and sizing is just a matter of a close guess. |

So, whenever I wear out a pair and need new ones, it’s far simpler to just order what I want online than to drive 20 miles to Battle Creek and check multiple stores. Same for jeans, underwear, socks, and belts. |

I forgot to mention it last post but I can personally recommend Joe's new balance outlet for shoes. If you have a model number you know you like. Never had a problem with them. Like I said I've been wearing them for a long time.

The New Balance 608s were delivered and they fit my wonky feet just right. I ordered them one half size larger in addition to the wide width. This will allow for heavier socks in the colder weather. I'm glad that it worked out and now I know what to order in the future.

I feel right at home in this thread; my 4-e feet have called New Balance shoes home for some time. For a long time I wore Rockport's, and still do at times, I ran across a brand-new pair of N.B., in 12w at Goodwill...the five dollar price made me buy them, but the feel of them has made them my everyday shoe.
I was all set to pull the trigger on some 608s at Amazon, when I remembered a new pair of Everlast in my closet. I don't think I've had them on more than once. For some reason the laces are long enough to reach to the end of my driveway...there's a pair of 608s in my future, but first, some new laces for the Everlast shoes that are wasting away in the closet.

A pet peeve of mine is shoelace length. Some Red Wing boots came with ridiculously long ones, my Adidas 007’s I barely have enough to tie.
And… when I try to buy equivalent quality of the original laces to replace, never can find them (except at a Red Wing store).

I remember when I first put the Everlast shoes on, and just shook my head. The right laces are so hard to find that I thought to cut the extra off, and crimp a wire connector on the ends...I still might, if I can find the right color.

Ordered some Drucquer & Sons Merry Monk, JJ Fox Banker's Mixture, and Warped Midsommar earlier today. All these blends are new to me. I'll probably try the Midsommar first, just because it seems least likely to benefit from any aging. Back in mid-July, I ran across an Ardor Liverpool in their Urano finish and snagged it. Very craggy:  |

Dumped my Toshiba satellite on the floor, that has served me many moons, but the fall was irreparably harmed… and the windows version had reached its end.
Reached out to my buddy and he referred me to a lightly used Dell laptop with Windows pro 11 on it for 10% of what the listed price new is. $50 for a two year warranty.
Looking forward to it.
