Ordered an electric foot warmer to use in the workshop this winter and it should be here on Wednesday. Warm tootsies, warm body. The foot warmer arrived the other day and it works well on the low setting in above freezing temperatures. The real test will be when it gets really cold and then see how it does. So far, so good. |

I load for my carbine. Hornady soft points. Deadly on coyotes and varmints. But when I looked up its current value I am now leery of using it much anymore.

12 tins of smoked mackerel and a big jar of whey protein. Been buying the whey from Amazon since I couldn’t find it at my Walmart. But y’day (after I had ordered it from Amazon) I finally found where they hide it. Discovered it was $4 a jar cheaper than at Amazon. Well, dang. At least I know now.

I received a Nimrod sportsman's pipe lighter new in the box. Made possible by trailboss with some extra goodies Gawith FVF which I was out of and had not ordered good stuff, Mississippi River which I am looking forward too have had the barrel aged it was really good stuff, some Briar Fox which I have in the cellar ageing but have not tried yet. Also a tin of Dunhill Flake that is right up my alley have a couple tins Peterson flake in the cellar, and a tin of Capstan blue. Put a smile on my face thank you Charlie. |

Amazon has been dumping all the packages on the local Post Office. We have 2 part time carriers and they are about to quit. One is a single mom of 3 kids. We usually get our deliveries about 8pm. Apparently this has been going on for 5 or 6 years but it just hit us. UPS guy is working 5 hour days.

With 2-3 years on all those mentioned, I’m nearly ready to pop one of each of those, they’ll be great winter blends.

Just picked up a very fine set of the 1989 Oxford illustrated Dickens complete 21 book collection in hardback. A pretty cool find! From time to time, you can end up in a secondhand store that has a nice set of books and they price them all individually. You can always make a far lower offer for the full set by talking to a manager, a smart manager will jump on it. |

Ingersoll Rand 1/2 drive Titanium 2235 impact a few days ago. Goes with my new Daytona 3 ton floor jack and jack stands. Used them to do the wife's front brakes. Soon to do her back brakes after that it will have already paid for its self with about 6 more tire rotations to pay for the impact.

A two-story place with an entirely full maze basement and upstairs with rolling ladders and all. The real Haunted Bookshop. When they have a full set, you must buy the full set. They also have the full set of Charles Dickens Folio Society from circa 2002 srill in the shrinkwrap for $999. Really want that complete collection, but I opted for the cheaper option. It’s not a place of haggling or a second hand shop and their prices are right. |

I was going to order from Perettis and then upon checking, I discovered I had about a half lb of Cuban, 4 Oz of Thanksgiving Blend, several ounces each of Omega and Tashkent, plus a couple others. Holding off for now but going to be smoking all of these for the next few weeks.

My favorite protein powder brand is having a sale so 5 tubs of various flavors. Moonpie was also having a sale so some of those. In smoking news zippo was having a sale so a butane pipe insert. And on my hookah front a fancy bowl and 250 grams of Tangiers cane mint.
