Good afternoon patchers.
As some of you here know, I have long been an English Blend fanboy, MM965 being at the top of that list for All Day smokin. (yeah, I know it's technically a Scottish blend, having some cavendish in it and all, but still my preference for an all day English)
In the end I really enjoy English, Scottish, Balkin blends.
All of that being said, I have really developed a taste for VaPers, especially Elizabethan Mixture.
So, thought I'd toss this question out there and see what sort of sage advice I could acquire from the fine folks here.
Fire away

LJ Peretti London Flake and Dan Tobacco St. Bernard would be my suggestions. Both are excellent and would stand up well to a primarily English smoker I think.

SG St. James Flake and Rattray's Marlin Flake (it also has Cavendish in it, does it still qualify?) are good.

Thanks Turbo, I haven't tried the Peretti, only their English's, and am enjoying the Dan Tobacco Bulldog Ropers Roundells I posted earlier. Actually sitting here enjoying a bowl of Escudo Navy DeLuxe. Although I've enjoyed the various Navy's and such, I keep coming back to the Liz.

If you like Elizabethan try the sutliff match Victorian. It’s a match to the old Murray’s version of Elizabethan. I prefer to the current iteration. Sadly my all time favorite vaper is mcelland 2015 and I’ve been out of that for years. Rougeroux from watch city is also very good but that only gets released twice a year.

I am seconding SG Saint James Flake. I bought a lb from Scottie Piersel several years ago. I filled one large jar with all those glorious flakes. You can’t go wrong with that one, Dino. Open one of those up, brother!

Escudo, Marlin Flake & SJF for sure. I havent opened a tin of Escudo in a long time, but there's always a jar of SJF opened... for good reason.
Dunbar WAS a favorite, but my old stuff is gone, and the new stuff is NOTHING like it.
I'm drawing a blank right now, which is odd considering VaPers have been my go to for a while now. I'll pop back in in a few.

Every blend mentioned so far are great in my opinion, but I have found that Virginia Perique and Virginia Burleys really trip my trigger!
So I cannot offer any further advice, I am heavily biased.
John mentioned the Country Squire anniversary, it is really good out of the gate, and it will be quite rewarding for those that cellar it into the future… I knew nothing about the blend until John mentioned it in another thread… Thanks for the heads up, John!

You’re welcome. It’s made by Sutliff and is a close relative of Cringle Flake, etc.
