Jarred up five tins tonight. I had forgotten how rich Viprati is. Haven’t had any open for a few years. Jarred a 2016 tin. Also intrigued by a 2014 tin of Gatsby Luxury Flake that I popped and jarred. Both will be getting my attention for the next few months. Also opened some Peterson’s 3P.

That’s always a fun time for me. I’ve had a few jars empty over the past couple of weeks so I just jarred a new block of 3P’s yesterday, as well as a can of Savinelli 140th and a tin of 2012 SG Golden Glow. This was the first time I popped a tin of GG this old and it smells magical, I’m really looking forward to smoking it.

A good habit to be into. More than once I opened a tin, smoked a great bowl of tobacco, and for whatever reason lost track of that one, only to find it later and it has dried out.
"Thou shalt jar thy tobacco upon the opening of a tin"
~II Viprati 3:13 in the pipe smokers Bible.
