 When is it gonna end. Next thing men won’t be able to buy jockstraps cause we’ll look too manly!!  A recent article said that Robert Redford wore a double jockstrap as a defense against Barbara Streisand while filming Love Story. She had quite the reputation. I would have added one on my face too I think. |

Have any of you used an induction cooktop? No extra heat as it heats the pan directly, and the heat control is instant. Boils water in less than half the time of either gas or electric. (When I say electric I mean glowing coils) Tried it at a friend's house, they seem to like it. I haven't given much thought to it, it's not as if I'm waiting desperately waiting around making soup. |

Oh, sorry— I took it that you were considering a non-gas stove. I'm actually about to measure under the electric cooktop now so I can order an induction cooktop. Amazon has one with good reviews for $279. That should last us until we get new countertops. Not getting rid of the gas though. |

California is phasing out gas… no new builds for gas ranges and furnaces allowed, and by 2027, all existing homes have to make the transition to electricity in a state that wants only solar or windmills.

Since we are on to Barbara Streisand and sex, a movie you might enjoy is the film "Nuts", 1987. An excellent courtroom drama. Not a comedy. She gives a speech about sex which will raise your eyebrows.
This also may have been the very great actor James Whitmore's last film. He plays the Judge.
I never considered her much of an actor until I saw this movie.
