I just found an 8 ounce box of Firedance Flake that I threw in the back of a drawer and forgot about. How good is that packaging?

I still have a st james plug in that packaging from when it released over the holidays. I'm sure mine is still fine but it's on my mind to jar it.
Edit to add: they sit on the shelves of online retailers like this for sometimes a year.

I've bought a few boxes of FVF that were in the original packaging, and a few years old, that were still in great condition.

Ok, yeh, those are the ones I've bought that were still good. I do t know how they were kept before I bought them, but they apparently did it right. Only 1 way to find out, send me 1/2 of it  |

I would crack the cellophane, if it seems overly dry, jar it with a humidor packet.
Some you can catch in time. Others maybe not.

Only ever had the Firedance snuff. Not the pipe tobacco I like the snuff.

I bet it's still good. I remember going through a tin of that. Blackberry or something, wasn't it? Not bad but I am not much for aromatics.

Better living, through gradual re-hydration. I have several tins of it and one opened and jarred. Should smoke some soon.
