Who takes the Series this year?
I will eat 100 pieces of candy corn if it's BoSox. You heard it here. Technically, they're undefeated in ST, though! We'll see what they bring tonight.
I'm sure those interested have seen Justin Turner's HBP yesterday. I got a little sick seeing it live. He's in good spirits with 16 stitches and much swelling today.

I'm glad he's in Boston.
These games are so darned fast. I'll get used to it and I try not to whine about change. I have enjoyed the timer attending MiLB games because I can't sit for long periods and I know I'll be home in my PJs by 10pm.

We've got some young position players who've looked awfully good in ST, James Outman, especially. JD Martinez, not so much. Dustin May looks fully recovered from his TJS, which is a big addition to the rotation, and Noah Syndergaard has looked pretty good. OTOH, Tony Gonsolin badly sprained an ankle and has no timetable for return, other than he definitely won't be ready on Opening Day.

I can totally see that with the LA fans if he isn't producing right away. I'm very happy JT's in Boston, but JD was a loss to those fans. And JT can help defensively, where Martinez is almost exclusively DH. |

So far as the Yankees go, the spring training games that I've watched have been less than stellar. And Cleveland? Oh, sorry Guardians fans. The company that owns Bally Sports, the regional sports broadcaster of the Guardians games, has in fact gone bankrupt and Bally isn't carrying baseball games at the moment. Rats!

Well, the boys in blue got off to a running start, whomping the D'backs 8-2. Both rookies in the lineup looked like they belonged. Urias looked good after the 2nd, and the pen was lights out.

I was thinking about that aspect of it all, it should be interesting with all the changes, especially the pitch clock. We’re the changes made because fans complained about the games dragging on? |
