For what it is worth, a room will cost $488 for two nights which seems steep for what it is, but not using the pipe show link, the same room is $543.00.
Kinda crazy for a town that has unlimited rooms available, I stay at Pretty nice Best Western’s with free breakfasts, and I have points galore at that chain, Hilton, and Marriott.
It is nice staying at the venue though, with the room hopping and such.

Well I am hoping an upcoming windfall will let me attend, it is in the works and I don't know when it will land. Will there be last-minute accommodations or should I plan on another hotel if my plan makes it?

A hotel that I stay at a lot is the Best western plus, Las Vegas West.
It is at the 6800 w? Block of Sahara, The Palace Station is at the 2600w
A 6 mile/15 minute drive, a straight shot so I imagine a city bus would be a no brainer if someone needed a ride.
Nice clean affordable hotel, with free breakfast.

Last year we were in competition for rooms with a music festival and the hotel sold out quickly. We moved the show up a week to avoid this and I imagine there will be rooms available showtime. Our discounted room block still has rooms but Vegas has rooms in a wide price range so I imagine you can find something that will workout for you. As I travel the southwest, I am able to listen to pipe related podcasts.
There are superstars in the pipe community that have reserved tables, well worth the trip.
For the sake of full disclosure, even if you attend and do not spend a dime at the LVIPS on the vendors, the price of admission is worth it.
You can spend time with the Michael Jordan’s, Muhammad Ali’s of the pipe community.

Thanks to You and the members of the AZPC for your continued support! These events get in your blood, my first time at the new West Coast Pipe show was supposed to be a one off trip to celebrate my 40 something birthday as the dates were in the heart of my busy season. 5 days off was a big ask but one year has turned in to…. Anyway we’re the only one stop smoke friendly show on the calendar. We’ve taken what we’ve loved from shows from the good old days when I was the kid in the hobby and continued it in the reimagined LVPIS! We’ll be at the NASPC show in Columbus in a couple of weeks, I’ve borrowed a couple of ideas from my dearly departed friend Bill Unger into our show!  |

Looking forward to meeting Tom Eltang… several others in that rarified air.
A nice reboot of a pipe show that really needed it, the emphasis of “International” is bringing in people on a global scale, when in the past it was just regional.

It goes without saying that there are some fantastic American exhibitors!

We just booked uber high grade Danish pipe dealer Per Billhall who will be joining us from Sweden and the German vulcanite lady will have a table this year. Tsuge will be joining us for the first time from Japan. We’re hoping to host more European collectors this year. It’s shaping up to be a great show! |

On the last Pipe and Tamper show, Brian said that they are maxed out on floor space, 105 tables are rented and 5 vendors are on standby if someone cannot make it.
This is going to be quite a show, and the reboot has been very successful!
