And while we chat about hype and marketing… I was recently confronted with the cover of the latest NRA magazine. Good grief! Two of the most ridiculous firearms I have ever seen. Notwithstanding that some might find them attractive, which is their right— they seem downright silly to me. But the firearm industry MUST keep “new stuff” in the pipeline, AND hype them, to survive and grow. But, geez…  One of those is designed to fit between California's laws and the other is modern thinking on a hunting pistol. I don't need either. |

Short answer is: Not to me it isn't. Besides, that's some serious guitar money we're talking about. Come to think of it, that kind of cash will buy a really nice custom made muzzleloader. So the long answer is all about priorities. |

Could it be a repurposed 2nd outfitted with a dragon cover and engraved silver band? In these new-age marketing times expressed in the spirit of "shrinkflation" most things are possible I suppose.

More use out of an anti-home-invasion tool than a nice pipe? I think if my home was getting invaded multiple times a month, I'd be moving. 😁
