Not very important. But not so bad either. A bit sycophantic, utero-centric, and faux “country.” But not disgusting. I can think of a current politician that does a similar shtick that is up-chuck worthy.

I make a point of not listening to modern actors from the USA. Mostly nitwits IMO. Anyone care to summarize Kevin's oh so important comments?
It was just nice, him talking about growing up with guns and going hunting with his dad and grandpa. My experience was really different, but the feelings were true to me. Of course, he's a great actor, so maybe he fooled me. This isn't about acting or politics.
I enjoyed it…. Not a fanboy of any celebrity, but he comes across as genuine and not at all fake.
There are a few god ones out there in Tinseltown and I suspect he is one.
