Speaking of expensive gifts… the wife’s birthday falls on Mother’s Day… thinking a Swiffer with the electrostatic spray that makes that vehicle really roar.
A woman that marries me is a lucky woman indeed!

Haven't tried EMP or Pres Mix yet, but I had a similar letdown with OGS the other day. Heard a lot of glowing reviews, ordered some, fired it up, and... Bleh. In my case it's probably user error, but it made me wonder if some blends need some air before they blossom flavor-wise, like how some wine needs to decant and air out? Could also be a mismatch between my pallette and my mind's expectation, like when you think something will taste a certain way, and when it doesn't you're disappointed even if it's generally good. Also, it seems like a tough spot to be in because if you cellar something you don't like initially, then in a few years it's the best thing ever, you have to start over aging fresh. The Cellar Keeper's dilemma, I guess. Best of luck, friend.
