Assembled an outdoor grilling prep table/cabinet. Smashburgers for dinner tonight. Now, I'm relaxing with some 2021 Rouxgaroux in the Wednesday cob. Hofbräu Original on the side.

Good Evening! It's 73°, breezy with a clear sky and bright sunshine out here on the deck. Having burgers too, Pete, along with Cole slaw and fried spuds. Okay, now what?? My hospital blood test is showing that I'm anemic and have a low iron problem. Since when did this start? I have my medical gang at the veterans clinic in Canton looking into the results. I know that I get topped off with iron just before going into surgery and I'll see if an iron supplement will be okay to take now. I'm supposed to be off of all vitamins and supplements on Sunday. Anything else?? More grief and aggravation! Lol. Hey, there's no crying in pipe smoking! Anyway, I'm finishing up a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Dunhill Lovat before heading inside for dinner. Have a great night, everybody!

2012 Leo in my Eltang bamboo Billiard. I’ll now be getting back to a bit more variety in my smoke posts. When I get a new pipe, my habit is to put 25 bowls through it in order to get acquainted. For the Jason Patrick Billiard, Joe Hinkle bamboo Apple, and the Eltang bamboo Liverpool, I have hit 25 bowls in each and it only took 26 days. The Jess has been seeing daily smokes since it arrive a week and a half ago as well.

Been checked out of the forums for the past several weeks. Being sick for a bit and then super busy with work, gardening, family life and I've just not had time to sit down at home on my PC. I've smoked quite a few bowls of various; Ennerdale Flake, John Patton's Storm Front, Haunted Bookshop, Louisiana Flake, finished off a tin of Sutliff Uno, and ordered a few of the last of the Birds of a Feather series. (Almost missed that one!)
Hope all are doing well, I should check back in and catch up over this holiday weekend.

Sorry for late post but darn allergies are driving me crazy! Was at the office earlier and played well despite sneezing for 18 holes. I’ve been taking allergy medication but think my body has adapted to them as it’s only providing short term relief. 12 hours of relief my arse! Haha…. Anyway, Bengal Slices and Haunted Bookshop to keep me company.

Good Morning! It's on the chilly side here at 44° with a clear sky. One of the workshop doors is open just a bit and the heater is running on low to chase the chill. Nuttin' much doin' today except some light chores and I'll be out on the deck this afternoon with my pipe and book. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos Two Note and there's the usual fresh travel mugga coffee waiting to get tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one, everybody!

I'm smoking my " porch mix " this morning, the pipe is one of my half rusticated Royal Guards by Stanwell. The mix is made up of a pouch of Dutch Masters maple cavendish, almost as much Buttered Rum from Sutliff, and a few tablespoons of Sutliff's Golden Cavendish...not one of them was outstanding, but somehow they fell together to become a tasty, easygoing mixture...as always, coffee was a part of this experiment.

Good Late Morning! It's 57°, breezy, and with a mix of sun and clouds out here on the deck. The only things on the list is to take the garbage bin to the street and clean up the kitchen after brunch. More pipe and book time later. Currently smoking Peterson Flake in the Don Carlos and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Time to read.

Having another bowl of Porch Mix in the Royal Guard, just in from the back porch, I'm taking time for pills and bills, something that seems to be the story of my life.
