I'm starting May off with a jar-mix of yesterday's smoking adventures...the last of my perique mix{Pipe Sunday} with about two bowls worth of Sterling's bargain blend, and a sprinkle of P.S. Black Cavendish. I wish I could have made a pound of this, cause the result is a cool, even burning smoke, with a flavor that reminds me a bit of F.M across the Pond. I fiddle with my tobacco way too much, but sometimes a winner pops up, and this is a winner, if only 3 or 4 bowls worth...great with this morning's coffee. The pipe of the moment is my blasted, bent billiard, marked LORD.

C&D John Marr in a MM zenon straight (straight apple shape made out of maple with forest green acrylic stem). Smokes fine but doesn't seem to warrant a repeat purchase.

Good Morning! It's 36° here and raining, of course. Today's big chore will be to clean Lily's cat box, so I'll have time to read. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of my Bayou Bookshop, a mix of Bayou Morning Flake and Haunted Bookshop, in the BBB Two Star Special. A fresh travel mugga coffee is tucked underneath my jacket.
