Looks like a nice bulldog of well aged briar. It has the old Salmon & Gluckstein silverwork on the band so I imagine this pipe is likely from the 1902-1930's timeframe. The bit looks like it may have been a replacement and the top of the bowl looks to have been topped down 1/4 inch or so.
