Another good source for 9mm pipes is tobaccopipes.com. You can filter (no pun intended) by filter size when looking at their pipes and they have many reasonably priced brands starting around $35.

Mrs. Zarnicky, it might not be the line you were thinking, but Mr Brog does great pipes that are dirt cheap, and many of them are filtered. In fact, my travelling pipe is a Mr Brog and it is one of my best smokers! They do a lot of pear wood, but also some briar.

I just cleaned up a collection that were 80% 9mm filter pipes from the 70's - 90's. The brands in this collection that were 9mm were, Vauen, Butz Choquin, Brebbia and Savinelli.

There were 5 Dunhills and many more expensive (to me anyway) pipes. I should have mentioned that before. Nicest collection I have handled in a loooooong while.

So what’s the deal, restoring pipes, growing the herd, or flipping estates? Filling in for the local repair guy at the B&M while he recovers from a hospital stay. I may get a few pipes out of the deal, maybe credit, maybe a lifetimes supply of Copenhagen. Still to be determined.

Glad that you were able to help the guy out, your skills obviously are a huge benefit to him.

Just so you can use the line, "he aint lyin". This is a picture of 9 of the last 10 pipes I did. All filter pipes and the lower 6 are 9mm. I have no idea what the old Brigham pipes use. The tenon on those is about 2.5 inches long. HAHA

Brigham having very beautiful looking pipes but their rock maple filter system disgusting! Zarnicky having one about year ago. Filter getting stuck in pipe. Zarnicky trying everything to get it out but nothing worked. I sent pipe back for repair. They sending me a new replacement pipe which I gave to friend on birthday. (Friends birthday not Zarnicky’s). I not buying Brigham pipes again.

My latest pipe purchase was a Barling poker, my first 9mm filter pipe...last I looked, there was one listed in the estate pipe section at smokingpipes.com at what seemed a fair price.
