Hey, gang. My name is Dan. I got back into pipe smoking about six months ago after a lengthy hiatus. I smoked a pipe for about 6-7 years before taking a break, and smoked cigarettes for a long time before that. I have about eight decent pipes that I rotate through, and a small cellar that includes around 20 different tobaccos. I am most certainly a Virginia guy and I really love English blends. I was trying to get into burleys recently, and bought a half dozen different bulk blends, but just couldn't seem to get along with any of them. I suppose the cube cut burley is "ok". Oh well, I'll let 'em age a bit and see what happens. Anyway, just a quick rundown about myself. I look forward to chatting with everyone and perhaps organizing a trade to get the wretched burleys out of my stash!  Dan |

Welcome Dan, Jar up those dern burleys...pipes aren't the only things that rotate, you might wake up one day and find your taste-buds have found some value in burley; took me over thirty years to find Granger and Carter Hall.
