If it works for you thats all that matters. I remember about 10 years  ? ago I bought a Pith helmet that had a solar powered mini fan installed inside, blew air down on your head. Looked like I was on safari in the mountains of NC but the bugger did work! Didn't wear it long but it worked. |

That sounds like a great way to keep the air flow, with what I guess the headband creates a space between the scalp and the helmet? Melania Trump wore one on an African safari, and the critics claimed she was insensitive and was showing her support for colonialism. It is safe to wear one now though. Funny how that works! |

Yes it did. And worked fantastic while mowing under trees, not paying attention and forgetting to duck from low hanging limbs. She looked way better wearing hers than I did!!
