He was quite an accomplished musician, and such a rare talent at that level.
I always thought it would be cool to have musical skills like that, walk into a Costco or a store of that sort when they promote pianos, and ask if I could try it out and bring the store to a halt.
It ain’t bragging if you can deliver the goods.

It ain’t bragging if you can deliver the goods. RIP, George Winston. My BIL was like that with the guitar. He could play as good as the top rock guitarists, seriously. We were in a big guitar store on a Saturday when the place was crowded. He was testing a bottom of the line Telecaster for my son, and ended up playing all afternoon. But most places you don't have be that good. Most people see any public music as a gift.
