Adding my greets to all the Dad's out there. Mine was a good one, passed in 1974, age 75, cancer. I try to remain a good Dad to my blood son & same grandpa to my steps. My Dad was #3 ranked scientist behind Oppenheimer with the WW2 ManhattanProject, for those history fans who might be interested.

Ed Easy to do the math on him, Ed. 1899 he was borne, great people were borne that year, my grandmother being one of them. Sounds like quite an accomplished father you have!

I sure miss mine. He had little time for me when I was a kid and lost interest while I was a teen and in my 20s. So, I did not get to know him until I was in my 30s. Sadly, he passed at age 67. If only there had been CPAPs during his time...

My dad majored in military warfare, minored in being a husband and father. His lack of mentoring and being a positive role model was quite a detriment… he set so many bad examples, I chose to do the opposite, I suppose I learned what not to do… still far from ideal.
But… he was my dad, and it was not in God’s Plan for me to have a Fred McMuray type dad.😉

My Dad welded on bomb project in New Mexico, was a typical Cajun Dad, tough didn’t show his love but he took care of his family. Never wanted for something to eat or wear. Tried to do as good for my family. Happy Fathers Day to all.
