Good morning, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the front porch. Mid-70s, humid with hazy sunshine. I guess the Canadian wildfire smoke is back. Heading out to take in a lavender festival (whatever that entails) at a local fruit & apple orchard/cider mill today.

Quite often the Lavender festivals have wine and cheese tastings along with lavender infused everything you can consume. This place, Blake's, in addition to orchards, has an on-site brewery, restaurant and cider mill. They are one of the country's leading hard cider makers, I'm told. I'm sure there will be a lot of things made of/with lavender.

Good Afternoon! It's 82°, breezy, with tolerable humidity, a cloudy sky, and muted sunshine out here on the deck. Did the supermarket trip, napped, and sanded the spackle patches covering the holes on the wall of my wife's sewing room. I just need another small piece of screen for the last hole and I can start wrapping up this project. Taking a tip from darktater and smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Stanwell 29 with a glass of cold water on the side.

Good Morning! It's 69° here with a cloudy sky. I woke up at 3:00 and couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to come out to the workshop. Later on this morning, my wife has an appointment at the hospital for a heart catheterization procedure and that will help determine the condition of her heart valves. Anyway, I'm starting the smoking day with a bowl of aged Dunhill Dark Flake in the BBB Two Star Special and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the tobacco table. Have a good, safe one, everybody!

ERR Match in a very filthy, dinged-up Pride. Black tea straight up. I have a Zoom meeting soon, so I should probably change out of my PJs. Meh. Monday.

Good Morning Again! It's 72° with a cloudy haze and weak sunshine out here on the deck. The Canadian wildfire smoke is back drifting across Lake Erie and the air quality in this area is rated as unhealthy right now. While I'm waiting to pick up my wife from her hospital procedure, I decided that some more coffee and a pipe will keep me going until nap time later on. Currently smoking another bowl of Dunhill Dark Flake in the BBB billiard.

Happy Monday, all. Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. I survived the lavender festival. Lots of walking, lots of people and lots of vendors selling their crafts. Lavender-based and other. Not sure I'll want to do this again. I'll be enjoying the quiet of my backyard today.

Another bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob on the back deck. Picked lettuce for dinner and fed the plants in the new garden box. Gonna putter in the backyard today, maybe mow the lawn.

Good Afternoon! It's 80°, breezy, humid, and with a cloudy sky out here on the deck. I spoke with Janet's cardiologist and she's still recovering from her procedure, so I'm just waiting for the call to come and bring her home. In the meantime, I'm smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the BBB billiard with some cooled off stale coffee on the side.
