To all my Pipe Family People. There's a scammer running around, got Heath last month, his name is Blake McClelland. He is posting pics of tins for sale on ALL the pipe groups. Please tell the admins to take his posts down!

I reached out to Blake to make things right and he has now blocked me. Please help extricate this pusswad from The Family.

Apparently this dude is making the rounds again. Got a message this morning from a fellow pipesmoker asking if this dude was legit. Please keep a lookout for his skammy posts in all the pipe groups!

UPCA: We have had several people banned from the UPCA FB group for scamming tobacco sales.

Yes, there’s been a lot of scam posts in pipe groups on FB, but it’s not from real pipe people. It’s scammers who sign up for a group and soon after post pics of impossible hordes of tins and say "up for discussion". Ignore any particular user name, they vary and change accounts. The basic rule is if the pics look too good to be true, they probably are. Most pipe group admins are aware of what has been happening and remove such posts and ban the poster. Plus, many group admins stick with the FB rule of no tobacco selling as there was a wave of group closures at one point for violations.

Nobody is legally allowed to sell tobacco anyway so best to avoid anyone selling tobacco tins unless you’re at a show, on TinBids, or PipeStud. It’s like selling alcohol. The ATF can kick in your door and shoot your dog.
