I met him at the Ny pipe show years back and then got to meet his son. Fine couple of gentlemen there

On the most recent podcast, it was interesting as JD Cole was interviewed and they spoke on the recent PCA ( Premium Cigar Assoc.)show in Vegas. Formerly ICPCR… “ The International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers ”.
At the time there was a lot of talk in our community on how dropping pipes from the title represented an abandonment of our hobby.
Not the case says JD, they are committed to our hobby, both in promotion and defending us in the legislature and against government bureaucracies.

Equally interesting is JD’s approach to the show and purchasing large amounts of pipes from manufacturers and distributors at the show… in order to get the bulk pricing to be able to compete with the big box online sellers.
