Out and about all day. Pouches and pipe along for company. Haunted Bookshop, Friar's Bayou and Silver Strike were my tobaccos. At home, on the back deck, now. Silver Strike in the Saturday cob.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 64° with a clear sky here before first light. Nothing much on The List again, so I'll throw in some more laundry and work at the hobby bench. I couldn't do much of anything yesterday because of back pain. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the bent smooth Don Carlos Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 77° with a clear, sunny sky and today will be a hot one here in the neighborhood. I'm listening to streaming classical music and have some calls to make. Currently smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Don Carlos and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the back deck. Picked more vegetables and watered the garden. 81 (headed to 90), humid, sunny and very breezy here.

Enjoying a nice bowl of Peter Stokkebye's Proper English #52. Good stuff to be sure.
Twisted my darn foot yesterday and now I'm paying for it. An excellent excuse to remain sedentary for an additional smoke or two. 😋

Middelton's Cherry Blend in a Made in London poker.

Good advice. That did help. Are there other Cherry blends that you like? Or do you find Middleton's to be the best? When I first smoked Middelton's cherry, long ago, I didn't like it; I found it bitey and not flavorful at all. At the beginning of summer, a non-smoking friend sent me a small box of Carter Hall, and one of Cherry Blend, with no idea that they were out of production. Now, as a more seasoned smoker of 35 or 40 years, and approaching the blend as a burley, instead of an aromatic, I find I can enjoy it; any trace of bite is gone as I smoke much more slowly. MY favorite cherry at the moment is Lane's TK-6, but mine has the benefit of at least a year in the darkness of my cellar, and seems much better than when it was placed there...It's dark, smooth, and creamie, and reminds me of St George's Blend, a now discontinued blend from Sutliff, and what comes to mind when someone says " fovorite cherry "

If you're interested in something cherry, Geoffry, you could try Cult Blood Red Moon. A lot cherry fans seem to swear by it.
