I finished up a two week trip to Colorado, Utah, and back to Arizona. The pics of the water was on my uncle Frank’s home in Colorado… cold water spring that is incredible, supplying icewater since 1942. The small dots in the pasture are a herd of about 40 elk feeding on alfalfa (my camera could not pick them all up). The streak in the sky was spacex overhead… later in the night the sky came alive on his property (Sangre De Crist mountains on the continental divide). The Milky Way is awesome at that altitude, devoid of light and pollution! The western towns were Silverton and Ouray, the steep grades was the road between them. The couple is my Aunt and uncle, mom’s sis that is an incredible cook!… tending mom’s grave.😢 The man and woman is my mom’s sister and her husband. We visited the wife’s family in Aurora. Zion Canyon and back through the Navajo nation. imgur.com/a/viwWPFn

The Ferris wheel in the building is a Scheels store in Salt Lake City, ours opens on a few weeks. Awesome sporting goods store, spent a lot of money there!

Looks like a nice vacation Charlie Indeed it was. Nice to get relief from such a hot summer. To quote Bill and Ted, it was most excellent. Good to be back at the hacienda though.

I can’t see them b/c imgur is ‘temporarily over-capacity.’ Charlie’s fault no doubt.

Thank you Charlie. Lovely images. Who’s the funny-lookin’ dude with the ‘stache who appears in so many? I got hit on by a lot of women, they thought I was Tom Selleck’s younger brother.

The guy in the chair on the deck is my uncle, on the maternal side. He has a beautiful ranch and even though he doesn’t have to, he works hard on it. It hasn’t all been a bed of roses, he lost his wonderful wife to cancer, and his son received a grim diagnosis and opted for a quick exit… that all happened within the space of a year.😕

Yeah, he was number 15 of 21 siblings, grew up really poor. But he retired as an executive at IBM, so he was about as conditioned as anyone could be when faced with trials.
