Hey everyone,
I hope you're all well. It quite strange that I'm writing this, as I used to be on here so much more frequently, and these days I've been so bogged down with so much else it's been difficult to catch up with threads.
I haven't been around for the last few weeks as my daughter started taking seizures a few weeks ago, which ended up hospitalising her. Thankfully they are non-epileptic, but she's still having them. Doctors are putting it down to her neurological condition (Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood), but she's had well over 100 seizures over the last couple of weeks. She's off school and can't go back until a care plan is in place for her, so things are a little crazy at the minute. This has come on top of other busyness in my life, so I'm worn out at the mo.
Anyway, I haven't forgotten you. Hope to be around a little more, shortly.

So very sorry to learn that. I’m sure you know we are all rooting for you and promise to behave in your absence. Prayers and thoughts can’t hurt and you have them for sure. Be sure to take of yourself, too.

I'd never heard of AHC. It sounds like a scary experience. I hope they get some kind of treatment plan worked out soon so she can get back to her normal life. She must be terribly frustrated at this point. Best thoughts to her, you, and your whole family.

There is no apology needed, I think that I can speak for everyone.
Just tending to a flock is a hard enough job few of us can fathom, and when you add in a child with serious health issues, and just the everyday challenges one faces in the journey day to day, that is a Herculean task!
Your absence is fortunately no problem thanks to the self moderation of all who post here, even if that was not the case, your priorities are with your family and flock.
I will pray for your princess… the doctors for divine wisdom, and for her a speedy recovery from the malady.

I can say this with all confidence, Andre's daughter was given a fine man to be that person, divinely appointed...she is supremely blessed...and the same goes for him.
