Received an e-mail for a nice $50 discount on my next purchase. Extremely nice gesture considering I wasn't aggrieved by their latest shipping woes. Good through July and my calendar lists a 15% off sale on MM cobs that month so there will be a few more added to the order.
Good on them for trying to make good with their customer base, exceedingly rare these days.

I didn't receive one either Maggie. Real shame too, I've got a cart with them, loaded up and waitin on me to pull the trigger. $50 off would definitely be an incentive.  |

It might be from a number of factors... like if you had a 4 week wait like me.
I have bought scads of tobacco from them in the last year, a couple of guys opined that they had gotten $20.00 coupons emailed to them and I didn't.... found out later that it was a campaign to incentivize those that are infrequent to buy.... makes sense.

then i'm ripe for a coupon since i've only ordered twice! I didn't wait four weeks, but it was probably 2 1/2 to 3. i didn't order on IPSD either, probably a week later.

I learned a long time ago "you don't get if you don't ask". That being said, be prepared to wait on the phone for 20 mins or so. I had to call em on two of my previous orders, just put the phone on speaker and went about my work until they picked up. |

Has anyone one had any luck getting the discount by calling?
I've spent over $300 since the President's' Day sale and I didn't get one.
Heck I still have stuff on backorder from that purchase and 2 other orders since then.
The last 2 orders I only placed because it showed all items in stock, but come shipping time it was another story.
I'm getting to the point that they really aren't worth doing business with.

I worked for a company that decided to go with new technology to better supply our customers, when we went "live" the system crashed, it took a long time to get the problems sorted out and the business took a very long time to gain the confidence of our customers, so having been there, done that I am probably more sympathetic than most. Prior to the snafu, they were flawless in filling my orders and shipping them.

i placed an order a little over a week after their problem and it took two weeks to ship, however, the two orders placed since then have been quick.

Big day here. I just got the last back ordered item from the presidents day sale today!
