Hey folks
I know Pete hasn't posted here in a while, and I hope I'm not out of order in sharing what little I know, but I 'm sure many of you wonder how he's doing. I had a call from him yesterday, and he sounded tired but still I could hear the usual upbeat sprit . he said he can't get warm, even in the house with two or three layers on, he still feels cold.
He complained a bit about how much time he spends asleep, yet still feels the need for extra naps throughout the day. Last he spoke of his weight loss; he has three MRIs today to figure out how he can stop dropping the pounds.
The treatments and testing and just fighting the fight doesn't leave much time or energy for posting, but I know he'll be back with us as soon as he can.
A prayer or a kind thought for Pete and his medical team would be time well spent, and I know you'll have his thanks and mine.

Pete ended up staying in the hospital after his MRIs on Friday. He had a blood transfusion over the weekend, that boosted his strength, but he said it seems to have wore off...he's on the way home as I type.
I told him we're all thinking of him.

Yes, I was up, but that was because Buster put the soft touch on me...he sleeps between us, and when he has to go out, he puts his paw on my shoulder and leaves it there till I wake up. Sharon says he does that so he doesn't wake her up, just his Pop.
We call it " the soft touch "
