Good Sunday Morning and Welcome to October! It's 53° here with a clear sky and moonlight. This afternoon I have to go to Home Depot and then to the supermarket for some veggies. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's a pleasant 66° here with a clear, sunny sky and today will be warm as the high temperature will be in the low 80°s. Shorts, polo shirt, and sandals for this afternoon while Summer weather makes one last visit. Currently smoking a half bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Sav smooth billiard and there's some coffee left in the mug.

Happy October! Started the month with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the back deck. I harvested a whole bunch of basil and some eggplants this morning. The basil will be turned into pesto and some of the eggplant will be grilled to be part of today's dinner. I'll be working in the garden and yard today.

Still trying to resolve that gross experience I had a couple weeks ago smoking Barbary Coast, a blend I'd never smoked before, in a Comoy's estate pipe I'd never smoked before. Last night I smoked some BC in a practically unsmoked Nording and had no complaints. Today, I'm testing the other variable, smoking some OGS in that Comoy's pipe: I picked up a couple of very faint perfumy hints, but they were less frequent and much less noticeable than when I smoked BC in it. I guess the pipe might be slightly ghosted, but that very bad experience seems to have been mostly the result of the specific combination of that blend in that pipe. I'll avoid that in the future. I quite like this pipe, so I'm glad to find it doesn't have a serious ghosting problem.

Good Morning! It's 56° here with a mostly cloudy sky and occasional moonlight. This afternoon I'm going to make the Home Depot and supermarket run that I've postponed. I had an attack of "dry eye" yesterday and spent much of the time putting drops in my eyes. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the smooth bent Amorelli Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!
