Penzance in an RC Sands rustic, quarter bent billiard. Just shoveled snow. Bonus….Heart didn’t stop. 🤪 OK, then drive the belt all the way around Houston.

My after-dinner smoke tonight was Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob. Now, I'm smoking Silver Strike in the self-made crunchy meatball.

This evening my father in law and brothers in law and I tried St. Bruno (ready rubbed). We meant to try it on Oct 6, St Bruno's Day, but better late than never, eh? Big fans of this blend right away. Cheers

Good Morning! It's 49° and raining here as the cold front moves through. This afternoon I have laundry and not much else on the list, so maybe I'll spend some time at the hobby bench. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of aged Dunhill Flake in the 1950 Dunhill Lovat and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one, everybody!

I smoked some 2021 Sutliff Maple Street mixed with a good dried pinch of 2021 SG Firedance Flake, in a Country Gentleman cob last night. It’s been a heck of a week moving stuff constantly into a new house and I had about 20 smokes planned, got to about 2 of them. A large majority of moving and back and forth trips ended up being all my tobacco cellar which put into perspective buying any more for the cellar, and I have a stack of the new release From Beyond with the new Turkish Latakia arriving today. Edit: Apparently the package arrived Saturday afternoon and I never saw it.

Happy Monday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee. It's 40 degrees and cloudy here, so I'm in the cave. Gonna make an eggplant Parmesan for dinner to go with the soup I made yesterday. Maybe a little workshop time, too.

Just back from the hospital, finishing off this morning's Nording. How's Sharon doing, Herb? She's walking, eating, and going to the bathroom on her own, and she looks fine, but still has a drainage tube in her side, but the most troubling thing is, she is not the woman I took in there...she is almost childlike , or somewhat off center... She says things like, " does Linda still have that hose she used to pump oxygen in her cakes with? " or "Boy, I'm beat, but at least I got all the tile up in her"...also " I gotta take treatments for fifteen months" The doctor did say her blood oxygen level was too low for him to have her open any longer, but that he was still happy with how things went; but I'm starting to wonder about brain damage she can't stay like this...it's been four days.

Hmm. Is her blood oxygen still low? That would explain some mental fogginess.

This sounds serious enough for you to press for a straight answer right away, Herb

If it took a week to move your cellar I am impressed! 👀😎 As it’s been a gradual move, I would move 3 or 4 medium sized moving boxes at a time after work along with various other small things packed in around each trip, then on the weekend I mostly moved furniture with a truck. The tobacco took up 12 medium-sized 19”x14”x17” moving boxes. I’m currently smoking some 2021 Warped Scarecrow in a Halloween Peterson 2022 05 bent and sandblasted Dublin system pipe with orange stem. The Scarecrow has gotten better and smoother in two years of age.
