I had about a half bowl of Solani Va/ Perique 2015, mixed with a half bowl of Formers Straight grain flake 2017.
They meld well!

Yardwork done, I'm going out on the patio with some First Amendment loaded in a Tom Eltang Dublin: Maybe I missed something, but over the past few months, did you acquire like 30 new high end pipes? Opening night of my local philharmonic was great. Gil Shaham who’s a world renowned violinist (and plays a 1699 Stradivarius “Countess Polignac (In fact, if you look up the 1699 Countess Polignac Stradivarius it will show that it is loaned out to him!) did an incredible job with the prelude pieces. The best violinist I have ever heard in my life. Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures is one of my very favorite classical pieces. Later into it around piece 7 or 8 out of the 10 pieces the composition seemed a tad bit different than the Maurice Ravel (French composer) that I’m very familiar with typically. Really good stuff. I plan on getting home and having more Opening Night flake.

Silver got onto me about it a few weeks ago so I've been trying to do better. I have posted that one before, though.

Back home and smoking some 2020 Opening Night flake in a Kaywoodie Saxon blasted bent billiard. Finding it hard to believe that Gil Shaham was playing a 1699 Stradivarius violin not 20 ft in front of me, and finding out that violin he was shredding like an absolute madman is worth something north of $3,000,000!

Gonna test-drive the new self-made pipe (which inspired a few pastry comments) with some self-made Silver Strike.

Smoking Arango Balkan Supreme. I usually have insomnia due to a medical condition. I take anticonvulsants and sure enough they make me sleepy in the day and keep me up at night. C'est la vie.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 42° here with a clear sky, moonlight, and the workshop heater is running. This afternoon I have to pick up our grocery order from BJ's. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the ol' Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one, everybody!

Just finished watching a four part episode of Doctor Who and now it's time to check the latest headlines. Currently smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in today's pipe, the Peterson smooth billiard with more coffee to sip.

Enjoy your Sunday!

A good thing it was never on loan to Pearl Jam or Nine Inch Nails!😉 (They smashed up a lot of instruments.)

No I checked my phone several missed calls bosses mom and daughter. Showed up a with 3 "cowboys" standing there and me the village idiot shows up 20 minutes later calf is out and breathing and I got to tell em not to touch the calf. PS. I have not had my hand up that orfice since the mid 90's but remember what I needed to do. Now if I can just remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.
