After traveling to Boston for business, last week, I found myself leaving the house around 4:30am, this past Sunday, to catch a flight to Sacramento.
I spent the first of the week in Yountville (Napa Valley), and then back to Sacramento Wednesday evening.
Being only an hour or so away from Ted, we made arrangements for me to meet him at his place up in the foothills.
After a nice drive (for California) I found myself winding up the well manicured drive to Ted's estate. ;-)
I was greeted by my friend and was quickly given the tour of his awesome place, with all of it's mechanical greatness (gearhead stuff).
We found our way to his incredible wraparound porch and stoked ourselves a bowl of Peretti's #8, followed up by a wonderful cigar.
The conversation was great, the fellowship even better.
