Does anyone remember a poster named dave g I believe it was. Great at restoring Grabows, really had some talent for restoration. We messaged back and forth a bit on collecting Grabows. joeman was involved as well, some good times.
Anywho, dave g gave me a frakenblend recipe called Witches Brew that I just find to be fantastic. It is 50% Esoterica Margate and 50% John Aylesbury Finest British. I have no idea if the names are the same in todays landscape. I know Margate was difficult to find. No matter the background, I love this stuff. I purchased a bunch of those two tobaccos back in like 2019. I always make a batch at Halloween. I have made said batch and would like to offer it to someone who wants to try it of course, but can also maybe tell me why dave g doesnt post much anymore or what happened to that man.
If dave g still posts and I am a mowron, bring that up as well and maybe that will be your ticket to a wonderful Halloween smoke. HAHA

That's a generous offer, Pete. Thanks. I'm going to pass on it, myself, as I try to avoid falling in love with blends I can't easily get, but it sounds like a good one.
Dave G must have been before my time.

Hi I do not have information on Dave G. The blend sounds like an interesting and tasty idea. I wouldn't mind trying some, though I can wait to see if a more worthy person comes forth.

Good dude for sure...quite the restoration wizard, and always willing to share his knowledge. Always got a kick out of his Kramer avatar. Tip: click through "View this member's recent threads." (especially the ones subtitled before and after)thebriarpatchforum.com/user/645
