Barbary Coast in a Ron Powell morta bulldog. I swear the edges on this thing are so straight and crisp, you could slice bread with them: Nice looking RP there…. I hope that he is doing ok, it was sad to hear that his back was such a wreck, and any other issues he had. Hopefully he was able to sell off that fine lathe for a decent price to another pipe maker.

Thanks, Charlie. Yes, I would like to think he's doing well in his full retirement, but the shape he was in at the time, I fear otherwise.

Sure you weren't smoking M79? I've got some somewhere, but I have no idea where, so I'm pretty sure. I hope it stays lost. 🤞

Last time I saw him he was OK, but just. I don't think he's sold any of his shop equipment. I need to see him again soon.

For dessert I'm trying this Wilke Santa's Blend I got a couple weeks ago. Pipe is a little Savinelli Petite:

Santa's blend is fine. Nothing special. Probably could stand to be left out for a bit to dry.

Good Morning! It's a milder 54° here with a cloudy sky, some light rain is on the way, and one of the workshop doors is wide open. I woke up way too early, but that's okay because I'll just go back to bed later on. This afternoon I have to take my wife to the pharmacy for her flu shot appointment and then maybe finish reaming the Dublin bowl on the Amorelli Three Star. I have to place my monthly tobacco order, too. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one, everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 54°, damp, and with a cloudy sky and some more light rain is on the way. Finishing a bowl Peterson Flake in the BBB smooth billiard while watching another episode of my streaming murder mysteries while sipping the second half of my coffee. Next up is Bayou Morning Flake and then I'll head back to the house for more sleep.

Good morning! We have a nice foggy, chill morning - 58 degrees. It's supposed to warm up pretty quick though. Smoking some C&D Bailey's Front Porch in a bent billiard.

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob. It's 49 and wet outside. Helping my wife with stuff inside. Gonna make some focaccia a little later.

I’m about to burn a bowl of 2009 C&D Star of the East Flake in a brand new custom cob from Southern Roots Pipes.
How do y’all post photos here?
