Happy Sunday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee. It's a chilly 43 and drizzly here. It's our son's birthday today. We'll all be going out for dinner today, then coming back here for cake. In the meantime, I'll be puttering around and maybe fiddle with some briar blocks. Happy birthday to Pete, Jr. Actually, David. But, I'll let him know!

Happy Lord's Day to All and One! Getting to have a bowl of Dunhill Early Morning Pipe Match form P&C vintage 2018 in a Kaywoodie Standard Bent Billiard... A large black coffee on the side... I will be singing again tonight in a multi church choir for one of the pastors in our association. Hoping for a good turnout. That is unless they have heard me sing before and then all bets are off!

It seems that when the time changed this morning, my brain stopped working, too! I had set my Don Carlos Two Note out to smoke, but inadvertently grabbed the Amorelli Three Star. I was smoking the Amorelli and not the Don Carlos posted earlier. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Lol! Hey Rzuss, just chalk it up to a senior moment... Next you will have one lit pipe and be lighting another

Well, I can't find my cobs. They must be in a box I haven't opened from the move. So, it's more Amphora Virginia in an Ashton Old Church:

First smoke in about a month, some Star of the East Flake in an old Dunhill circa 1960's. I sorted through some of my stash and have begun posting a couple of tins on the FS forum. Will post some more very soon.

I nearly finished off my 2022 tin of C&D House Reserve (Brick & Mortar small batch exclusive bur/VA/black cav rum and molasses old school blend) in a Country Gentleman cob yesterday. Tonight I mixed the last bowl worth into some Sutliff Maple Street and I’m smoking it in an MM General cob. The last half bowl or so I mixed with some 2015 C&D cube-cut burley, and Maple Street. Two bowls worth of that mixture of the three to smoke later.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Still lots of house cleaning, furniture acquiring, settling going on here.

Great evening with the family tonight. Dinner at a nice restaurant, followed by festivities at the house. Had Brown Clunee in the small, rusticated "55" pot a couple times. Now, I'm going to have some Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob in front of the tube.

Good Morning! It's 39° with a partly clear, starry sky and moonlight here. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket run and pick up our grocery order. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one, everybody!

Currently smoking a bowl of fresh McConnell Scottish Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard while watching an episode of The Doctor Blake Mysteries streaming on BritBox. There's more coffee to sip in the mug.

Mixed burleys with a dash of black Cavendish, in the 221b Baker Street briar calabash, black coffee on the side. A supermarket run is also in my future, plus a stop at C.V.S. for medical needs.

Good Morning Again! It's 40° here with a partly cloudy sky and sunshine. Finishing up a bowl of Straight Grain Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard and there's some coffee left in the mug. Time to check the headline news before heading back to the house for a bit more sleep.

Happy Monday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop and coffee. 53 and partly sunny here. Gonna spend a little time in the yard today taking care of some odds and ends.

Germain’s Special Latakia Flake in a cob. This tobacco checks all the boxes for me. A nice Virginia smoke with a good mic hit, and just a touch of latakia.
