Hi Folks, The revered and jeered P&C has John Cotton Smyrna back in stock. My guess, given the close relationship between all, is they uncovered or recovered an extra batch (or could it be "The Resurrection Part Deuce"?🤓), as this blend disappeared a few years ago. Before the double pressed (cake etc.) series arrival, Smyrna was the best rated of all the John Cotton blends. www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/9900/john-cotton-john-cottons-smyrna/It has been a favorite of mine. Without further ado, for a limited time only, let me reintroduce you to John Cotton Syrma!!!🤓 www.pipesandcigars.com/mobile/p/john-cottons-smyrna-pipe-tobacco/1498842/Do you have a favorite resurrected blend that has gone back to boot hill? Do you have a favorite resurrected blend that is still alive and kicking? Don't be shy you can tell us all about it ...

It was my favorite of the John cottons revivals. Sounds like they found some In the warehouse based on this "Please note: Due to FDA regulations, this blend is no longer being produced. We recommend Hearth & Home Marquee Magnum Opus as a replacement"

Yes it would appear so. I did ham it up a bit 🤓 for the fun of it.
BTW: As you probably would agree, H&H Marquee Magnum Opus, now known as Magnum, is not the same as JC Smyrna.
Any thoughts on the last two questions?

The two questions are:
Do you have a favorite resurrected blend that has gone back to boot hill?
Do you have a favorite resurrected blend that is still alive and kicking?

I was going to say I'm not really aware of any resurrected blends, re-dead or still kicking. But I guess the Drucquer blends are all resurrected blends, as is Edward G. Robinson. I like those.

No longer in production reproduction:
JC Smyrna
Still Kicking:
Bengal Slices
One might say any Peterson Dunhill blend qualifies, though they are being produced by the same company, recipe etc. as before.
If we count that then for me it would be Nightcap.
