Was curious so kept notes to see how much smoking I do in a day.
1. House2- start at 745am. 1hr15min
2. House1- start at 1105am. 2:00
3. Pub2- start at 215pm. 2hrs20min.
4. Pub1- start at 6:50pm. 1hr48min.
Four bowls. 7hrs23min. Probably too much. Need to cut back.

I go through 1-2 pounds per month, I think you're doing fine.

Tough one for me, don't measure in such detail. 4-6 pipes/day, avg medium size bowls, if a magnum, less. Also 2-3 cigars/day again depending on size.

I usually only smoke 1-2 bowls a day sometimes more on the weekend/holidays. a 2oz tin lasts a week or two on average.

I can't smoke when I am doing something requiring extreme concentration. Pipe smoking gets me too relaxed and my thoughts tend to meander.
But on a day when I am just doing time sheets or administrivia, I will smoke all day.
Weekends pretty much smoke when I can. Luckily I can smoke in my house. My pipe smoking follows my coffee drinking.
So, a lot.

These days, one or two bowls a week. Probably will step it up with the cool weather. Ideal for me would be 2 or 3 a day.

Lot of variability from day to day for me. Averaged out, it's probably a bowl every other day or so.

Very little…
No smoking in company truck and mister wind follows me everywhere at the hotel.
2 bowls per day at home.

Usually 5 or 6 a day, but I work from a home office and smoke in the house. I also smoke small to medium pipes (group 4 and smaller).

A bowl per night on workdays, when at the hotel (weather permitting) at home, I smoke a bowl nightly.
I wish I could smoke a bowl in the mornings, but for me it just doesn’t “click”… that will change I suppose when I retire.
At the current rate, my cellar will far outlast me.
If I could smoke in the company truck, it would be more often.😕

I really admire you guys who can smoke inside your homes. If I could, I'm sure that I'd smoke twice as much as I do now and in more comfort, too.

At the time, I didn’t truly appreciate the very good life choice I made by marrying a woman whose father chain smoked a pipe in the house and whose favorite uncle smoked cigars in the house. |
