Our daughter lives less than ten minutes away, so we'll get together with her and the grandkids for Thanksgiving dinner.

Across the street with the ol'gals. Pick up turkey/ham slices Wed at grocery store. Have smashed taters/veggies, they will do a pecan pie. Can no longer drive at night. Nearest...70miles away at steps north of Rochester. Will be ok as is

I'll be going to visit the folks. Sounds like my siblings and their families won't make it this year, so it'll just be me and the folks, I think.

Staying home. Might mow the grass. Yours must really be hanging in there. Mine's mostly brown. I have to plant winter rye every year to keep the yard from eroding during the winter. It's already about 8 inches high. The regular grass has stopped growing. And to mulch the leaves that have fallen so far.

Turned out one of nephews and his SIL came in, so it wasn't just me after all. The brother she married (back in late spring) was working. They all live in a little college town a couple of hours south.
