King’s fool in the Sav Canadian, with a glass of scotch. Does anyone pair wine with a pipe? If so, what do you smoke? I opened a Merlot today? But I generally don’t drink wine with a pipe, so I poured a glass of scotch before I lit up. I have always enjoyed a round, robust Port with a pipe or a cigar. Fruity and earthy. Nice! What kind of tobacco with the Port?

I'm having some Paul's Pipe Shop 95th Anniversary Blend in my Paul's Cayuga freehand, which I seem to have mislaid my picture of, somehow. I don't know what's in this blend. They threw in a couple of ounces with the pipe and I haven't gone back and checked their site to see what it is. Some kind of vanilla aromatic. Definitely a good bit of cavendish in it. Don't know beyond that.

Watched "how the Grinch Stole Christmas" (1966) over a little meer of Eccentric. "A Christmas Carol" with Alistair Simms is next on the agenda.
"Merry Christmas, to all! And to all a good night!"

2017 Heinrichs Reserve Crue #4 in my Sara Eltang bent Dublin with plateaux rim. I don't remember seeing that Sara before, John. Maybe it just hadn't registered with me that it was a Sara. I’ve had this one for several years. It’s the second Tom Eltang made pipe which I bought.

Just got back from church. Getting ready to have a Christmas pipe. Rattray’s Exotic Orange in my WGM meerschaum. The tobacco is from 2018. Sipping some Buffalo Trace Bourbon cream. Delightful.

As we await the arrival of Christmas the wife and I are continuing our traditional Christmas Eve night pizza and movies. So I’m enjoying a bowl of Three Nuns in my GBD Tapestry 9438... A large sweet tea alongside...

Had a couple more pipes at son's house after my last post. Haunted Bookshop in a self-made, rusticated "55" and Cringle Flake in a Peterson Christmas 2020 B10. Wrapping things up at home with Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob.

Well, I was planning to go out and have another bowl or two, but the wind is swirling now, leaving me no dry spot to sit. Dumb wind.

Good Morning, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to You All! It's 45°, damp, and with a cloudy sky. Janet made me a batch of chocolate fudge overnight so that will need to be sampled later on. I still have to wrap her gift and I'll do that while she's asleep when I get back to the house. This afternoon I need to take care of some laundry and clean Lily's cat box. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venera 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have an enjoyable and safe Holiday everyone!

Good Morning Again! It's still 45°, damp, cloudy, the workshop heater is on the low setting, and I'm rather comfortable in here. Today's high temperature will be around 60° but will drop off during the week to a more seasonal weather pattern. Just lit a bowl of Christmas Cheer in celebration and I'll sip my coffee while checking the headline news.

MERRY CHRISTMASGreetings from Athens-Greece, we have sun and 64 'F (unfortunately no snow). As you can see the quality of the photos is low, i don't know what's happening. I transfer them from my smartphone to my pc, stored in USB stick in a HUB in separate files. I check them after 1-2 days and ALL of them are OK, i make a second check after few days and suddenly some photos have been deformed! I run and Antivirus-Antimalware check and nothing found. The USB stick is permanently attached to the HUB for years, has enough space and suddenly the latest months some photos (which were in perfect condition) get damaged. Take a look: Why this happening? Can someone help me?

I've been getting good, long smokes this morning and I just lit up a bowl of Limerick Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard. Listening to streaming soft new age instrumental music on Pandora and sipping my coffee. I think that I'll check out more headline news and finish this pipe before heading back to the house and wrapping my wife's Christmas gift.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob. Another busy day here. Need to make a side dish to take along to my Sister's house. It'll be another day of overeating. After today, I may just fast until the weekend, haha!

We got a sprinkling of fresh snow yesterday, just enough to disguise the icy, dirty, melted dregs of snow we had. Not exactly a white Christmas but it's nicer, cleaner, fresher.
I'm having Eccentric in an Anton & Co. maplewood pipe from Ukraine. Ovaltine coffee on the side. Have a Happy Christmas everyone, we are blessed with peace when so much of the world right now is struggling.
