I'm familiar with most of the names from reading old threads. I think most moved on by the time I joined about 3 years ago or shortly thereafter. The patch was a hopping place.

 Herbindace was a vet who had PTSD, HE LIKED TO COOK FOR HIS HOMETOWN ORGANIZATION, he was in a quandary no big pot not cook his stuff, sent him this from Amazon, and he called crying, thanking me prousefly, it was worth the money!

Yes remember Ed James, maker of Mullberry pipes, killed by his own step grandson. I believe he was an expert on Kaywoodie pipes. I sent him as you will see a very unusual UPS PACKAGE, cut it in 2, ups man said that was the most unusual thing he had ever sent. He made me 4 pipes, gave one to Scrooge which endearehim to me as he revered Ed.

That was pretty bizarre about Ed James, he came across as about as gentle a person you could ever meet on a forum.
To be murdered was a senseless act, by a lunatic… he should have offed himself if he wanted to kill someone.
Glad to hear that Scrooge is still with us, Christmas is not the same without his presence!
