An act of Kindness, from three giants within our circle...

 and just in time too. Holiday stress had the wife and I at each other's throats today; tree lights wouldn't work, boxes of decor were found to be miss-labeled...as the wife tossed two trees into the pickup bed, I stormed off to our back lot to burn some fallen limbs.
  Later, returning to the house, I found a package on the front porch that reminded me that Christmas isn't about trees or decor at all...it's about the blessings of love and friendship we bring to one another.

   Inside the package I found a note that sed I'd  greatly enjoy the contents while sitting on the new porch, then a nice Christmas greeting for Sharon and I, signed by Sliver, Urb, and Gypo...

  Below the note, covered in bubble-wrap and surrounded by newspaper, I found pipe box, and inside, I hand-made pipe by our own , Silver. It's a looker too, with It's butterscotch forever stem and maple{ish} stain...feather light, with a really open airway  you guys sure know how to make an old codger feel ten feet tall , and I really don't have the right words to thank you, except to say that you boys are the cream of a very special crop, and I'm proud to be your friend.

The first tobacco to find it's way into this rascal , will be a mix of Carter Hall and MacBaren  Symphony. C.H. because it's what I break em in with and M. S. to slow down the burn and add some extra sweetness.

Silver{Pete}, can you post a shot of this pipe, as I'm limited in that area???
