And yes, we finally have our Christmas tree up! It's 18" tall, made of plastic, comes equipped with lights, little ornaments, and is sitting on the antique sideboard in the living room. Not much, but enough to bring some Holiday spirit and tradition to our house. That's what really matters, doesn't it?

 I confess no Christmas tree this year, had a new AC unit installed about 6 months ago, dissapering stairsd hydraulic strut broke, crew screwed it shut, couldn’t get a carpenter to replaceit till this Wednesday, all of our Christmas stuff is in the attic. Oldest boy drove 600 miles with a nasty back injury from his days of jumping out of planes, sitting in a recliner he realized he forgot all the presents at his house. To make things worse the presents we order are shipped thru UPS, tracking number says they haven’t got the merchandise.Told my Son don’t fret, it’s something the family will talk about, a Christmas without presents, I’m just glad the family is getting together.

Brad, if you didn’t have bad luck, you would have no luck at all!
I hope that your son can get some sort of solution to his back problem, they can be quite debilitating.
Family time is where it’s at during Christmas, so you are in a good place!

Up early, Buddy needs to peepee, light rain, he doesn’t like wet grass, both sons here, daughter and her family tommorow, wife in kitchen preparing breakfast for the crew, got my coffee, trying not to get in the way.

Oldest son got him on his side, was very wary of him. Son and Mom went yesterday to Pet Smsrt and because we are members they bought 50$ of stuff worth over 100$, 2 dog beds, 6 or 7 toys, Came back and finally my oldest son was Buddy’s friend, loves a fuzzy squeaky lamb. Need to bring him to my vet really soon, DONT like that cut above his eye. Loves to be around the wife in kitchen, I can already see he’s gonna be her Buddy.
