Well, the shitty new owners of the casino I like to frequent to smoke my pipe has decided to stop selling Glenfiddich. Say it's too expensive even though they sold every last drop and didn't give any away. They say the people who use the lounge don't gamble. But we pay for everything. They bought up a bunch of little casinos and all they want are gamblers. I think they are going to close the lounge eventually. I'll just go to the truck stop eventually. It will be cheaper. Well that sucks. I hate it when a company stops taking pride in its product(s) and starts being just a financial report. Like in this case, the new owners aren't really in the casino business. They're just (to borrow a colorful phrase) a vampire squid jabbing their blood funnel into anything that smells like money. They'll slash costs and bleed cash off the casinos till they're dead, then move on to something else.

What's your take on that? A friend recommended it to me and I bought a bottle, but I was a bit underwhelmed.

What's your take on that? A friend recommended it to me and I bought a bottle, but I was a bit underwhelmed. I've been drinking it since it first came out. I like it better than Bushmills, but not as much as Jamesons. I don't really compare it, it's just a pleasure to drink. It was also very affordable when I first started drinking it. If it isn't cheaper than Jamison 12, I would have to think about it.
