An early breakfast of a little ham, two eggs, last of the polenta, hash brown patty, sliced tomato. Went back to bed for four hour nap, finishing my short night's sleep. Woke, did a few chores and lunched on a slice of whole wheat toast with Mortadella, Provolone, topped with mustard and Romaine lettuces leaves in place of second bread slice. That is how I make sandwiches these days of borderline diabetes. Heading into town this afternoon. Visiting the Ex and her partner. They will have pizza and salad for supper. I have to check on their new dog, a very affectionate female Husky of one year. She loves me as do most dogs. It is nice to see her. I am very popular with dogs, not so much with humanoids. Dogs are the best people, anyway.

Tonight's dinner will be baked boneless pork ribs with acorn squash (peas as a backup if the acorn squash has mysteriously disappeared), and leftover rice.

Breakfast of eggs scrambled with mozzarella cheese, chopped green chilies, tomato. Two link sausages. Hash brown patty . Slice of fried bread.
Lunch was a cup of beef vegetable soup and an open face sandwich with mortadella and Hungarian salami.

Overnight oatmeal with strawberry and banana slices, peanut butter and a few chocolate chips. Only a four ounce jelly jar. Filling enough, without bogging me down.

Rudy's sliced brisket sandwich with cole slaw. What's Rudy gonna eat? Poor Rudy. Rudy has lots more. We don't have a Rudy's around here, but their brisket, sausage, and pulled pork are in the local grocery.

Tonight will likely be pork steak, either breaded or sauced. The Chef has not decided. Mashed potato pancakes and sauteed zucchini or some such.
Lunch was a bowl of my vegetable soup with slices of Romanian Salami on the side.

Lunch was Tacos al Pastor from a truck.
Supper was rotisserie chicken with zucchini and tomatoes sauteed in olive oil. Italian herbs. French bread.
