At Lou’s diner in Vegas today, had the “everything omelette” hashbrowns, sourdough toast, Iced tea.
I wish this restaurant could be replicated near my home…. Stellar service, fantastic food, and the waitresses are phenomenal.
I always go-out of my way to stop in.

Halal Lamb chops, dry rubbed with Zatar spice mix, coated with EVOO from Morocco and broiled. Couscous and Swiss Chard with Bok Choy. So good. Tiny chops from young lambs. So tender and good. Desert was Cotswold Double Glouster Cheese with onions and chives and grapes.

Stopped in at The Claim Jumper last night, clam chowder, and a ribeye steak dinner.
It has been years since I ate at CJ, the food was cooked to perfection. Definitely need to go back.

Scramble of eggs, sausage, onions, tomatoes, and couscous. One way to use left over couscous. Good breakfast. I prefer distinct elements on the plate. Breakfast meat, eggs, some kind of carbo, tomato and/or other vegies like mushrooms. Each on their own. We eat with our eyes, too. So, it needs to look purty.

They used to have a bigger footprint than now, one had opened on the west side of Phoenix some years back, but I never made it there, the one that predated it was in Tempe closer-to me, but it closed some years ago. The closest one to me now is in Henderson, and one is in the Golden Nugget on the strip… The meals I have had, have always been great. Not sure about the grocery store offerings.
