One of my favorite sandwiches, taught to me by an old Norwegian sailor in the early 60's is sardines, mustard & thin slice of raw onion on rye,. Also good with Braunschweiger! 👍 Yes it is!

Buffalo wings at a local tavern. A little earlier, assorted charcuterie and a glass of wine at a local junktique shop that was celebrating it's 1st anniversary. Pretty decent place for old shtuff.

Lunch was Chinese take out in Taos. Visiting the Ex and her new Husky who loves me. Kung Pao Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, Curry Beef. So good. The operator is a very nice man who recognizes my voice when I phone in. Always nice to be on good terms with a dog. An ex, too, I guess.

Most of what we call Chinese Food is quite different from what is consumed over there I am told by immigrants here.

We did southwestern chicken thighs in red sauced chili, over a bed of Spanish rice and Anasazi beans, homemade tortillas with roasted Jalapenos.

Dinner at the old Mrs Rios Thai Kitchen in San Luis, CO. Tom Yum soup with vegetables, Red Curry with Beef. Simple but adequate.
I have a bit of Chinese Curry Beef and a larger leftover portion of Thai Red Curry Beef. Tomorrow I will combine with some left over steak from Friday. In the wok with noodles and more vegetables. Ought to be powerful. If not, I will make it so. I hope I can get the electric stove to light up. It gets very hot perfect for wok cooking. This being Taos County the stove only works when it wants to which is not often and not regular.

Had grilled snapper with crawfish etouffee over rice for lunch yesterday. Supper was grilled cheese with tomato basil soup. I'm just eating smaller portions. Just started a low dose of Mounjaro. We'll see.

Had grilled snapper with crawfish etouffee over rice for lunch yesterday. Supper was grilled cheese with tomato basil soup. I'm just eating smaller portions. Just started a low dose of Mounjaro. We'll see. I love crawfish etouffee! Can't really find it here in Ohio though.

It's usually in the same area as the frozen shrimp. We keep a couple of packs in the freezer just in case. I probably couldn't mail some to you. ☹️
