Kitchen Department, me, says roast chicken. Stuffed with onion, garlic, ginger, celery. Coated in olive oil and well seasoned with spice mix. Under the breast skin are long twigs of Rosemary. There will be a gravy. Parish Rice and likely Baby Bok Choy. Stir fried and lightly steamed with water in the Wok.. Sounds tasty. That it was. Plenty more chicken left over.

I keep toying with making homemade ice cream, I have an ice cream freezer and I know that homemade is better but all the ingredients, cream, fruit, chocolate, etc…, and salt time and effort…. Albertsons has their brand, 1.5 quarts for .95 cents…limit 4 units on the wife’s card, 4 units on mine.
Happens constantly… anyone want an ice cream maker?

Since my "friend" never showed and left town, I will not be enjoying a meal at Mrs. Rios Thai Kitchen this evening as reported earlier. Another miscommunication apparently. By the time I drive myself he and the others will be finished. I endeavor to be clear in all communications because that is how I was trained. I find many others to be so self consumed they cannot be bothered to make the situation clear for others to grasp. They know what they mean so what is the problem? So, I will be reheating roast chicken, Parrish Rice, expanded gravy, and Baby Bok Choy. Fine for me.

That is unfortunate, I feel like that I am missing out whenever you go to Mrs. Rios kitchen… now you can experience my pain!😉 Leftover fried chicken sandwiches on toasted Dave’ killer bread with mayonnaise, bacon and a slice of white onion. Resers potato salad on the side. When we buy an 8 piece feied chicken, the larger portions are eaten last in this fashion…. Always tasty.

As a kid I cranked until I thought my arm was going to fall off. We have a hand crank and an electric ice cream maker in the garage attic. Don't expect to ever use them again. We can't make better ice cream than Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla.
