Grits and bacon. Coffee on the side. The new Kuerig machine makes so much better coffee than the old Hamilton Beach clone ever did. The Keurig’s in the hotel usually far exceed what they have in the breakfast nook of the hotel, most places excel at putting out bitter brew. I suppose with creamers you might mask it a bit, but I drink black coffee.

Making Scottish Mince with ground beef and pork. I add onion, garlic, celery. I did not have just peas, so frozen mixed vegetables added. A nice beefy gravy added to the pot with Worcestershire Sauce, dry mustard and a little dill pickle juice.
To be served on Parish Rice.

Years ago, I was at a British car meet. I was in my old Land Rover. A guy there brought a Ferret armored car. I sat it in. It was for sale and I gave thought to buying it for about 10 minutes.
