It's take-out night from the Asian bistro up the street. Tonight we're having beef spicy peanut curry, chicken Thai cashew, pad Thai, and pork fried rice. Enough for leftovers tomorrow!

Turkey burger with mustard, ketchup, lettuce and relish. Was good. Ice water to drink I have a friend, kind of weird old gal, who is convinced ground turkey is made from people. She advised me of her concern when we were at the market together. Than put a damper on my decision making and I stayed with beef. With the passage of time and clearer thinking, post medications, I will buy some in the near future. I always enjoyed a good turkey burger or in Chili con carne. Oh, yes, Cassandra also warned me not to attract demons by speaking curse words.

Supper was the last of the London Broil from days ago with potato dumplings in a nice gravy made from leek and celery soup. Raw Bok Choy on the side. I prefer it raw to cooked. A little rice vinegar and voila!

Two poached eggs on black beans with summer squash from my planter. A corn tortilla with a modest slice of cheese. Time to lower personal inflation!

My first attempt at pressure cooker ribs. This is 1/3 of what I cooked today. It took 27 minutes to cook them to this level. Putting them under the broiler would crispy them up, but I haven't done that yet. Live and learn: this unit does not have settings that allow for canning. I suppose I could improvise, but would prefer not to. Canning requires a visible pressure gauge, and this one has only settings for various contents. Oh well. The ribs were quite good. And the leftovers. (Which I trim off with a knife since I do not let him have bones) made Eli quite happy.
