Breakfast was a third of Mary Kitchen's Corned Beef Hash to which died zucchini, red lentils, and buckwheat groats were added in the skillet. Topped with two poached eggs. The start of Chemo has been delayed owing to the MD wanting vaccinations for Covid 19, Flu, and RSV. Got two of the three last evening and waiting for a some days before starting. I had a briefing from a Cancer RN yesterday in Santa Fe at the Cancer Center. Tried to have lunch at The Tibetan Kitchen but they were only doing takeout orders owing to problems. So, we took away a container of their stew with beef, potatoes, vegetables and rice noodles in a great bone broth. Really unique flavors. Some consolation for the hassle of driving almost 300 miles round trip. Would've been nice if they'd told you you needed those vaccinations before you made the trip.

Because you are not allowed to have chemo unless you have mutated genes and are protected from the flu. What about a shingles shot the omission of that makes me not trust them well that and not needing a mask because masks work? Pepperidge Farms Butter Pecan thin and crispy cookies with a evening espresso. It is pah-con not pea-can get it right or I am not sharing

Yeah, the only shot that I have taken is the shingles shot it has passed the proverbial test of time, and I want nothing to do with shingles. Not into playing darts with my body parts.
Sucks if you are in the position of needing a surgery and the commencement is dependent on such.

If you have the shingles virus, and most everyone does, then you are setting yourself up for a case singles that would make you wish you would die already. Not everything is an evil plot.

I will be doing home Chemo with Xeloda pills which were dispensed at the clinic. No time wasted. Waiting one week for the vaccines to be absorbed.

My own breakfast hash with two poached eggs. Good it was! Pot of tea. I am about ready to switch to coffee in the morning. The tea without sugar is less enjoyable. I like black coffee, no sugar. So, it follows.

Had to get up at 4am today to get the wife to the Longview hospital for tests. (she's fine, thanks.) So hungry we stopped at the first place we came to, Lizzys Grill. 2x biscuits with gravy, 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon, washed down with a huge cup of coffee. 5 thumbs up.

That is good news, indeed, Ron. I mean about the Missus. Also, about Lizzy's Grill.

The Catering Department informed me tonight's dinner will be 1/2 of a pork chop, reheated. A pork tamale smothered in red chile with bitter chocolate and topped with cheese. Refried beans and cheese, reheated squash and steamed Swiss Chard. The cheese is an Italian Cheddar which is very good. Not Double Gloucester but good. Libation, pre dinner, is The Proper Twelve with a splash of water. Lemon water will be served with the meal. That is if the Footmen and Butler can be rounded up in time. When one has lived alone as long as I, talking to oneself and fictional characters are standard.

I'm wondering which of us is in the lead at the moment.
