The waitress saying - "Once upon a time, there was this handsome lobster......" By the way, what difference between decrepit, run-down Greyhound terminal and lobster with breast implant? One is crusty bus station and other is busty crustacean.

Jersey Mike's is all over down here. Decent subs, unless there's a Firehouse Subs place within 20 miles. About 48 years ago a real Jersey sub guy opened a food truck in Houston. It was submarine Nirvana. I have never had a sub that good before or since. Not good enough to make me leave Texas though. Zarnicky never been to Texas restaurant but I hearing story about what happening there. Two men in Texas restaurant having bite to eat, they talking about cattle ranch. Suddenly, woman at nearby table, who eating sandwich, begin to coughing. She choking. One Texan say "That little old gal seems to be in trouble. I think I'll just mosey on over and give her a hand". He looking at her and saying, 'Kin ya swallaw?' Woman shaking head no. Then he asking, 'Kin ya breathe?' Woman begin to turning blue, and shake head no. The man then walking over to woman. He lifting up her dress, yanking down her drawers, and quickly giving her right butt cheek a lick with tongue. Woman is so shocked that she having violent spasm, and obstruction flying out of her mouth. She beginning to breathe again. Texan walking slowly back to his table. He saying to his friend, "That 'Hind Lick Maneuver' working every time".

A nice BBQ beef baked potato with real chives and sour cream I polished off the whole kit and kabuttle. I knew we could count on you! We used to eat those once a week. There was a barbecue place on 610 at Ella that had the best. We couldn't come close to them at home. We have one place up here but they skimp on the ingredients. Thomas Barbecue on the North Loop!

Made a large batch of chili con carne with pintos and black beans. Tomato paste added so it is not New Mexican Chili. I am out of our local chile poweder. So, I used Portugese Piri Piri which is an excellent spice blend. Both powder and liquid. Meat was 1/3 beef from Old Cow Number 42 and ground elk cow taken last Fall.
